Just when people are looking for someone to pull us all together, the GOP throws out more US (the haves) vs Them (the have nots) tactics.

After reading this article, I have changed my view about the legal concept that you are innocent until proven guilty. These people need some "Old-West" style justice apllied to them.
I am in no an expert, but I'm not an idiot either, despite what John McCain thinks about me.

I think I picked the wrong line of work. Alan Fishman just got paid $19 million to sit in a cushy office at Washington Mutual for three weeks while federal regulators seized the bank out from under him. I know this need no repeating, but this is just crazy. WOW!
Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but I think it's worth a look.
First it was Iraq. $trillions of taxpayer money, huge portions of it lining the pockets of defense contractors and oil companies. Now they want $700 billion to line the pockets of the fat cats on Wall Street. Don't listen to them. There are no WMD's on wall street.

I am growing ill as I watch the news coverage of our esteemed Congress considering yet another huge bail out of the banking industry. I hear numbers ranging from $500 billion to $1 trillion dollars.
